Property of the Crown, then royal residence, Chenonceau Castle is an exceptional site not only because of its original design, the richness of its collections, its furniture and its decorations, but also because of its destiny, since it was loved, administrated and protected by women, who were all extraordinary and who, for the most part have marked history.

Founded in 1893 by Mr. Brédif, Brédif cellar is one of the most famous caves and most respected for its quality in the region but also in the world.
Known for its Vouvray wine but also for its softness, Mr. Brédif was a pioneer in the world of winemakers, creating the sparkling Vouvray from the early twentieth century. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took over this estate in 1980. Its troglodytic caves Domain, carved in the limestone from the tenth century, are among the most beautiful and largest of the appellation. They contain rare wines, including vintages dating back to 1874.
Brédif caves Chinon also produces red and rosé wines, including the prestigious cuvée, the Private Reserve and Chinon Chinon Blanc.
